Engine 51

A red 2024 International commercial Fire Engine, custom built by Deep South Fire Trucks.  This engine complies with the requirements of NFPA 1901, the standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus.  This vehicle is a type 2 engine that complies with NWCG standards for wildland fire engines.

This Engine has a 2,000 gallon tank of water and a 1,500 GPM pump.  There are 3 preconnected hose lines, 2 – 1 3/4” attack lines (200 feet each) and a 1” booster line (75 feet).  This Engine carries a 200’ attack 2 ½” line and a 150’ 1 ½” hose pack ready to go.  The engine also carries an additional 500’ of 2 1/2 “ supply hose and 1,000 ‘ of 4” supply hose.  In addition to the standard hand tools of a fire engine, it carries a 24’ extension ladder, a 14’ roof ladder, and a 10’ attic ladder.

Tanker 51

A white 1994 International commercial water tender, custom built by United Truck & Equipment.  This vehicle is a type 3 water tender truck that complies with NWCG standards for wildland fire water tenders.

This tender has a 2,400 gallon tank and a 250 GPM pump.  There is a pre-piped monitor nozzle (deck gun/pipe), and a 100’ 1 ½” attack hose.

Brush 51

This brush truck is red 2003 Dodge Ram 3500.  This brush truck has a 250 gallon tank, a 240 GM Hale Pump, has 100 feet of pre-connected ¾” attack hose and 2 – ¾” pre-connected ‘whip’ lines for fast fire attack, and carries an assortment of wildland/grass firefighting tools.

This brush truck is white 2010 Chevrolet 3500HD.  This brush truck has a 250 gallon tank, a 350 GM Hale Pump, has 100 feet of pre-connected ¾” attack hose and 2 – ¾” pre-connected ‘whip’ lines for fast fire attack, and carries an assortment of wildland/grass firefighting tools.

Brush 53

This brush truck is a red 2013 Humvee provided to the FVFD by the DOD.  This vehicle is a type 6 brush trucks that complies with NFPA 1906 and NWCG standards for wildland fire engines.

This brush truck has a 200 gallon tank, a 240 GM Hale Pump, has 100 feet of pre-connected ¾” attack hose and 2 – ¾” pre-connected ‘whip’ lines for fast fire attack, 300’ of 1 ½” hose, 300’ of 1” hose, and an assortment of wildland firefighting tools.

ATV 51

This saddle seat ATV is a 2014 Honda Rancher.  This ATV was donated to the Fannin VFD by Goliad County Sherriff Roy Boyd for the use of search and rescue.  This vehicle is a type 4 Off-Highway Vehicle that complies with NWCG standards for wildland fire engines.
