The Fannin VFD has approximately 23 Members:
18 of which are active volunteers
7 have attended formal firefighting training through the Texas Engineer Extension Service (TEEX)
5 have completed Fire Fighter 1 training
3 are attending Fire Fighter 2 training
1 is a certified Structural Firefighter by the SFFMA and Texas Commission on Fire Protection
1 is a Texas DSHS Certified Emergency Medical Technician
The Fannin VFD has an active Junor Fire Fighter program for eligible students age 14 – 18.
